The Holy Family House of Prayer was established in September, 2002 after a statue of the Virgin Mary started weeping tears of a perfumed oil. Since that time many visitors from all over the world have come to the House of Prayer and shared their story.
The house is open Monday, from 11am to 3pm and a simple meal is offered to those who visit. A prayer group of Servants of the Little Way meets twice a week.
Episcopal approval by Archbishop Barry Hickey was given on the 25th March, 2011 to be called The Holy Family House of Prayer.
